Number 4, and this is plenty of notice as the state is want to do, is a public
hearing to receive comments regarding temporary closure of gregg lane in September
2005 for road construction from cameron road to a point approximately 600
feet west of cameron road in precinct 1.

>> good morning, carol joseph, t.n.r. This is a joint project
between txdot and Travis County that will not occur until September 1, 2005.
However, due to txdot's regulations, we are required to have a public hearing
prior to -- at least the year prior to the actual closure of the roads to
be able to construct the bridge and cameron road. We hope to put up another
one at least two weeks before this actual construction begins and that will
be just t.n.r.'s requirements because a year from now we're probably certain
that most people will remember.

on this item. So we intend to put another one on two weeks before the actual
closing.
>> and this is to give residents a new six-lane divided arterial
at a cost of $2.7 million. So it's a major project.
