Consent Items

View captioned video.

Now, the consent motion is next. And beginning with the items posted for consent, c-1 through c-10, changing c-7 to November 9th. And we have been asked to consider adding the following items to the consent motion. And if you would like for us to discuss any of these separately, please say so as we call out the number of the item. Number 4, 5, 7, 8, 9. 10, 11. 14-a and b. 15. 16. 17. 17. 17-a. What about 18? Do you all want to discuss it?
>> I have a question on h. Because it was mentioned as a settlement, but it seemed more like it was a transfer within the risk fund.
>> okay she let's discuss it. It involves to nueces property. It really is a property of [inaudible] the balance necessary to get this project done.
>> it just was strangely put on the agenda. Not only this is where we have live claims and accidents and --
>> we'll call up 18.
>> weird stuff. But my only question is on h. A through g I’m fine.
>> any objections to 18-a, b, c, d, e, f and g on consent?
>> those are the ones that --
>> should we just call them up? Let's call up 18 later. 19. 20. 22.
>> > 22 I didn't get any backup. I didn't quite understand what was going on with 22. Okay, 23 is a little form normally filed with the county judge and what that says is the forfeited money that comes to the d.a. Will --
>> that's 22.
>> yeah, I didn't get it until this morning so I’m --
>> okay. This has not been on the court's agenda historically. I put it on this time because I asked the county attorney what I’m supposed to do and the law says basically that I’m supposed to receive it and the county clerk is supposed to duly record it. So I thought I would just put it on the court's agenda for us to authorize the county clerk to duly record it.
>> I have duly read it.
>> it's not one of the things we've done before. We do it thinking if somebody asks down the road what happened to that we'll have it in the official minutes.
>> got it.
>> let's give our clerk some authority, some power. 23 I understand is just a routine here's how we do the --
>> same as with the budget, yeah.
>> no objection to 23 being on there?
>> no.
>> and if my office would contact daniel to see if there are issues on 26. I don't know that I have backup when I looked at it.
>> I think we were just carrying it.
>> actually there is backup. There is a memo in there. It's our annual early voting shall we pay the parking fees for the election judges at the university of Texas. It's a very small amount.
>> we'll call it up. 23 is the last one.
>> move approval of consent -- what about a-1?
>> a-1 and a-3.
>> move approval of consent items.
>> second.
>> would anyone like for us to pull any of these items for separate discussion including a-1 and a-3? All in favor? That passes by unanimous vote.
