Travis County Commissioners Court
September 21, 2004
Consent Items
Posted for consent are c one through c five. I though those to be ready for
action. We've oo been asked to considered aking the following I testimonies
to the consent motion. If you would like for us to discuss any of these separately,
please call out the number, number 2, I’m saying number 2 to rule basically
instead of three years, it low pressure up to six options. We'll have an opportunity
to raise a red flag if there is occasion to do so.
>> it will be submitted annually for court approval.
>> that's the main difference, I understand.
>> judge, can we get new language? Because what is on the
agenda is different from the backup that we go from sherry which does say
subject to annual approval by the Commissioner's court. Do we need to make
that part of the motion?
>> that will be fine. That's the intention, right?
>> that's the intent.
>> that's correct.
>> number 2, subject to approval of the Commissioner's court.
>> annual approval.
>> number 6. Number 7 (a). 8. I understand those to be the
same holidays that we celebrate this year and previously for the most part.
Trail, a long list of purchasing items. 13. 14. 15. 16. 17. 18. 19. (a), (b)
and (c).
>> quick question.
>> all of it?
>> sure.
>> part of a consent motion. 20? 21 22? 23? 24 (a) and (b)?
25? 27? That we had the public hearing on. 28? 30?
>> judge, I’m going to have to call it out.
>> 30 will not be on the consent motion.
>> have to abstain on that.
>> yes, sir. 31? 32 (a) and (b)? 33? 35? 36? 38? Any issues
on 39? 39. And 40.
>> second.
>> would anyone like to pull any of these items for separate
discussion? All in favor of the motion? That passes by unanimous vote. Let's
assume posted in 32 those interviews for the executive manager of health and
human services, room 35 this afternoon, that assumes that we finish the rest
of the court's business except for the corporations this morning.
