Speaking of executive session ...
>> we will call that item up under the consultation with attorney to the open meetings act. 40. A. Consider and take appropriate action on request to determine value of 4.39 acre tract of county land at 4001 state highway calculating annual rent for the solid waste transfer station located on the tract; and. B. Receive briefing from county attorney regarding unpaid back rent. 41. Receive legal briefing and take appropriate action on ferguson and tuscany way extension project. That's the consultation with attorney exception to the open meetings act. By the way 40 a and b will be that's the consultation with attorney exception to the open meetings act and that's the real property exception to the open meetings act. 42 asked do' postpone one week. 42 and 43 postponed until next week. And 46 as well as a 3.
>> 42, 43, 46, next week?
>> yes, sir.
>> and a 3.
>> and a 3.
>> all right.
>> bless you, john.
>> and a 3. John knows we've run out of energy and when he's not likely to get a good decision from us. [laughter] 44. Receive legal advice and -- do we need 44? The hospital district.
>> there was the one letter. We discussed last week some of you wanted the hard copies and i've got them here if you want to take a look at them. We have never -- the court never authorized the judge to send out that letter dealing with the interlocal agreements and --
>> take only 30 second, let's take up it up. 44. Receive legal advice and take appropriate action on implementation of Travis County hospital district. 1. That's the consultation with attorney exception to the open meetings act. And 45. Discuss and take appropriate action on pending reduction in force affecting three employees in administrative operations. That will be the personnel matters exemption to the open meetings act because we plan to call some names and discuss those individuals presumably.
>> did we do 20 b? Did you already say that, 20 b.
>> we announced that first. Temporary pay, right? We will discuss these matters in open session but will come back to open court before we take any action.

we have returned from executive session, scmawrt had another commitment. He will miss the rest of this meeting. Number 20 b, we did receive legal advice from council on temporary pay for purchasing office employees.
>> how could I word this, part of it is a comment, the rest will be a motion. The comment is considering considering everybody else has had to come through the paf process because this was a special brand new Commissioners court policy that did not exist a year ago when all of the budgets were adopted. It should have been appropriate that the purchasing board come to the Commissioners court like everybody else did to get us to weigh in. Since that is not possible. I would move that we defer this item to the purchasing board to ratify what has occurred.
>> second.
>> any more discussion? All in favor? Show commissions Davis, Sonleitner, yours truly voting in favor.
>> abstain.
>> abstaining, Commissioner Gomez. We did discuss item no. 40, also. Which involves county owned property on 620. We discussed 6 b. That will be back on the agenda next week.
>> two weeks, judge.
>> two weeks then, that will be September 14th. It will be back on and hopefully will be ready for action at that time. We also discussed number 41. It will be back on next week. In the mean team, county staff will communicate the -- communicate with the walnut place neighborhood residents to update them on options that we are looking at. And the county attorney's office will make a final effort to -- to communicate with mr. Nall and his attorney to try to get that matter resolved, we are working at it for two different directions, we will have it back on September 7th, right?
>> 14th?
>> that was a one weeker.
>> just one week on that one, hopefully. 145 bedid get an update on. No action required today. We will be required to take action though pretty soon, be back on the court's agenda for action at the appropriate time. I guess alicia and project roger will let me know exactly when. On 44 last week we did take a look at a letter that we looked at again today. I move after making the charge regarding the interlocal agreement with Travis County for tax collection, that the county judge be authorized to sign this and send to it the Travis County hospital district.
>> second.
>> on behalf of the Commissioners court. Seconded by Commissioner Sonleitner. Discussion? All in favor? That passes by unanimous vote of those present.
>> are we there?
>> we are there.
>> [laughter]
>> move adjourn.
