22. Discuss and take appropriate action on request from Travis County hospital district for county media services support of board of managers monthly meetings. That's support by basically televising those meetings for them. Once they get up and running, once or twice a month.
>> once a month is what our understanding is. We can do that at no cost with flexing staff time.
>> but it will require adjustment of our workforce, according to mr. Jackson's memo.
>> yes, that is correct.
>> can we pass this, then, maybe after the first three or four meetings see if the impact has been as small as -- as we hoped? If it turns out to be a lot more substantial, revisit it.
>> yes, sir.
>> how is that.
>> we can do that.
>> because any time that you take -- send two people to cover another meeting, whether -- the meetings may go as long as ours, three or four hours, you know, there is an additional workload there. And we think we can work without overtime, but if overtime is required we ought to know that, too, I guess.
>> they meet at 6:00 in the evening? What time are the meetings?
>> yes in the evenings, I understand.
>> that's why we have to do the flex.
>> I think there's a great desire as as many things as we can logistically as good neighbors we try to absorb it doesn't mean forever and I think we need to very much track how much this is costing and whether it's something that you can absorb or something that is creating issues and we can address. But I think this first year we need to at least try to make it work and make it fit. Whatever way we can on behalf of the hospital district.
>> that's the recommendation, right.
>> yes, sir.
>> Commissioner Sonleitner moves approval of the recommendation, seconded by Commissioner Gomez. Any more discussion? All in favor? That passes by unanimous vote.
