Item 26

View captioned video.

Number 26 is to consider and take appropriate action on the following items for westlake highland's, resubdivision of lot b, block 3-a. And to chapter 48.010 2 (a) 1 for minimum lot sizes for a single family residential area and a plat for recording in precinct 3 westlake highland's, resubdivision of lot b, block 3-a, short form lat, ridge crest drive, no fiscal required, sewage service to be provided by on site septic systems. City of Austin etj.
>> we brought this in two different public hearings earlier this year in the past couple of months. What it was was a mother and daughter wishing to resubdivide their lot. They already have two houses, two septic, it was prior to chapter 48 being changed. The rule change which required now 75 -- three-quarter acre lot, at the time their houses were put on, the requirement was a half acre. Since that time we've changed the regulations and they're now requiring -- asking to resubdivide their plat. We brought it to you in the public hearing for the variance as well as the public hearing for the plat, the plat had to go through some environmental issues from the city. They've since gotten all that approved and we're asking that you approve not only the variance but the resubdivision.
>> I move approval.
>> second.
>> I can't recall whether we got any opposition during the public hearing.
>> I don't think we did.
>> no, we didn't.
>> it was just the timing. You had required that we bring the variance at the same time we bring the resubdivision, so that's why you had the two different public hearing.
>> motion is 26 (a) and (b)?
>> yes.
>> anymore discussion? All in favor? That passes by unanimous vote.
