Item no. 1 is a public hearing to discuss request regarding a plat for recording in precinct three: westlake highlands, resubdivision of lot b, block 3-a (short form plat - 2 lots - 1.1132 acres - ridgecrest drive - no fiscal required - sewage service to be provided by on-site septic systems - city of Austin etj).

>> good morning, carol joseph, t.n.r. About a month ago, we brought this -- this plat in for variance for septic and we were asked to bring the variance back at the same time we brought the plat. The plat was already scheduled -- in between that time the city decided that they needed four environmental variances. So what we are asking for today is simply this is a resubdivision where a mother and a daughter already have two houses. They want to resubdivide an acre into about a half an acre each. We have no issues with it, but they need to go blue the planning commission planning commission -- to go through the zoning and platting commission, that is on September 8th. That is all that we have today. We need to go through the public hearing, on the 24th we will bring back not only the variance but the approval of the plat.
