A-1 is to consider and take appropriate action on transfer received from trans co-contracting for east metro park construction project, phase 1.
>> judge, I would like to move that we reject and send this out for rebid.
>> and are you also all right with allowing us to amend our standard spec to allow on this specific project that we allow the prime contractor to subcontract more than 50%, up to actually 70% of the project because of some of the specialized areas?
>> yes.
>> and do you also approve of separating out the vertical and horizontal and having two separate bids, one for the horizontal and one for the on --
>> yes.
>> been there, done that.
>> yes, sir.
>> that's the motion?
>> that's the motion.
>> explain -- what are we fixing to vote on?
>> you're going to reject the sole bid that was gotten and allow us to rebid. You're going to allow us to take the one bid and separate out the vertical mark, which is your roadwork and a separate bid for the buildings because it's really sort of two different trays. And you're also allowing us to authorize, if necessary, the prime contractor to sub out up to 70% of the work because of some of the specialized things that we have in these parks.
>> the rejected bid was overbudget.
>> it was over you budget.
>> all in favor? That passes by unanimous vote.
