Number 6 is to consider and take appropriate action to appoint simon c broussard as Travis County fire marshal for a period of two years. He's been with us several years are already and has been serving as acting fire marshal since we lost our last fire marshal.
>> the requirement for fire marshal is to have a bond. The fire marshal would have a bond for failing performance of duty, and I would recommend that in the amount of $10,000.

>> I can't find where our previous fire marshal was bonded.
>> recommend that we approve the recommendation of simon c. Broussard as the Travis County fire marshal and authorize a bond paid for by the risk management fund.
