Citizens Communication
Citizens communication is next. The citizens we have signed in is our own jeff ricker.
>> good morning, judge, Commissioners. Jeff ricker from the county stens office. I also have several others with me from the county extension office. We just have a brief special presentation we wanted to make this morning in front of Commissioners court. We finally accepted the fact that stephen williams is leaving us and we wanted to provide him with a little special recognition for all the outstanding support and service that he's given to Travis County extension and the Travis County 4-h. We have two small tokens, stephen, if you would come forward. First of all, since stephen didn't grow up in Texas and probably didn't have all the opportunity as a youth that some of us had and wasn't a 4-h member, we want to make him an official honorary 4-h member here in Travis County.
>> you are here by declared an honorary 4-h member. [ laughter ]
>> then our second token we want to present to stephen is our highest award. It's the award of the silver spur, which is made in san angelo, Texas. It's one of the most sought after pieces of art that you can have. It one of the things they we give to our supporters every year. He's been a valued supporter of Travis County 4-h for years and we're certainly going to miss him. We appreciate your time this morning in let is ug do this.
>> thank you, stephen. [ applause ]
>> [ inaudible ]. It's too late to change your mind about leaving now, stephen. [ laughter ]
