39. A. Conduct local canvass of election returns for the special election on the creation of the Lake Travis community library district and on the election of the initial board of trustees; and. B. Consider and take appropriate action on order canvassing the returns and declaring the results of the special election on the creation of the Lake Travis community library district and on the election of the initial board of trustees.
>> thank you, judge. The results of the may 15th election are included, request waiver by precinct results, but let me give you the bottom line. For creation of the district 1,658 votes against the creation of the district 1,064 votes. It passed by a margin of 60.91%. The following 5 persons were elected to serve as the initial board of trustees, carol black, robert b. Johnsst, dan w. Peterson, nancy w. Pensack and mary l. Whitaker. I have also included for the court to add to its record the list of the write-in votes. We did tally all of the write-ins. They were all, you know, oneies, two diies, that full report is included.
