Going back to 38 a. 38. A. Conduct local canvass of election returns for the special election on the creation of a Travis County hospital district; and appropriate action on order canvassing the returns and declaring the results of the special election on the creation of a Travis County hospital district.
>> the results for the may 15th election, waive reading of the precinct by precinct results to be included in your records. The cumulative result of the proposition is for the creation of a hospital district 31,920 votes. Against the creation of a hospital district, 26,406 votes. The measure passed by 54.73%.
>> do you recall what kind of turnout this was of the total registered voters?
>> 10.26%.
