25. Consider and take appropriate action on the city of Austin's counter-proposal for the review and inspection of subdivisions in the extraterritorial jurisdiction. Last week we voted basically to ask the city of Austin for a meeting, we did read the response to you, that basically was I guess when the city council is not meeting, you cannot meet with the mayor and another member of the council. They will meet on Thursday. And I guess she's saying --
>> that's right.
>> okay.
>> I didn't know that.
>> [indiscernible]
>> yeah.
>> I didn't know that.
>> yeah.
>> mr. Librach goes to the back of the line on Monday night. [laughter]
>> that costs us another week, I was hoping to have an informal conversation. We will do the best we can I guess to -- I do think that she ought to know that we expect them to am point this subcommittee for us -- to appoint this subcommittee for us to meet looks like between Thursday and talking about Friday and Monday really if we are going to meet before next Tuesday.
>> that was Commissioner Daugherty [indiscernible]
>> we were supposed to meet with the mayor and a representative or two representatives from the city council.
>> I heard they were willing to meet with the judge. [laughter]
>> just what I heard.
>> I said that -- [indiscernible]
>> judge. Something else, that really didn't get clarity on like I would like to have gotten clarity on, the binding arbitration, involved in here, how long I guess tom -- if you could help me on this a little bit, how long can you proceed in this direction, joe, with -- with this issue. 1445 and not come to any resolve? This is something that we have talked about near term annexation and all of these other things, transportation, drainage, all of these things that are important now. Duplication of service. How long can you go before -- before someone -- someone else says well we did it, county, you are now have to -- to commence binding arbitration. Is there a time line.
>> practically speaking probably have until the regular session of the legislature convenes. Which what date they want to arbitrate.
>> maybe they will arbitrate for us.
>> okay.
>> oakey-doke.
>> thanks.
>> we will have it back on next week.
