Number 9 is to consider and take appropriate action on recommendation for new members to the community justice center advisory committee and mission statement. And -- and backup indicates that the two new members will be mike manger, who is with us today. How are you doing?

>> and jerry nelson who is not with us.
>> yes, sir.
>> beg your pardon?
>> basically, judge, this morning I'm asking approval of two additional members to the advisory committee as the community justice center. Mr. Nelson is a retired cpa living in Lakeway, he has always been a volunteer pastor at the c.j.c. For a number of years now. Has he quite a bit of experience, as does mike. In October of last year, the advisory committee in recent months they have become more of an active working group as opposed to strictly as an advisory committee. They really wanted to redo their mission statement. In your backup, excuse me, the mission statement states the c.j.c. Advisory committee is a group of Travis County members ... Make recommendations to the c.j.c. For stakeholders on programs initiatives within the c.j.c. Through this work we aim to ... Facilitate the transition to of confinees into productive citizens of Travis County. Also asking approval of their new mission statement that they adopted in October.

>> thank you, judge Biscoe, I would like to thank judge Biscoe, Commissioner Davis, Commissioner Sonleitner, Commissioner Daugherty and Commissioner Gomez for the privilege of serving in this manner, I would like to thank paula mcelroy, the chair and the vice chair and the advisory committee for recommending me to you, I would like to thank my colleagues at Travis County health and human services for supporting me in this effort. Thank you.
>> well, we appreciate your willingness to -- to undertake this serious responsibility. I this think the advisory can he has done an excellent job for some time. The committee members would like to go in a slightly different direction. This Commissioners court stands behind you 110%, although you cannot always look back and see us. We are there.
