6. Approve proclamation proclaiming April 23, 2004 as "salute to catholic war veterans day."
>> judge, I don't think there's anyone here, but I would like to read it into the record.
>> all right.
>> and then Friday morning we will read it at their convention. Whereas the freedom and liberties enjoyed by the citizens of this great nation were on won and have been protected by the men and women who became veterans of the many wars of which this nation has become engaged, whereas many veterans of america's armed forces who have served their country in war and peace are members of the catholic war veterans, let us not forget the sacrifice of these veterans who fought with full measure of their valor and loyalty to protect our country. And whereas the citizens of Travis County are eternally grateful for the contributions, the catholic war veterans have made to the cause of world peace and it is fitting and appropriate to pay special tribute and honor the sacrifices. And whereas the Commissioners court of Travis County encourages all citizens to remember our catholic war veterans and their -- in their prayers and hearts as they hold their 2004 state convention in Travis County during the period of April 22nd 2004 to April 25th, 2004. Now therefore we do here by proclaim April 23rd, 2004, as salute to catholic war veterans day and urge appropriate recognition thereof. And I move approval.
>> second.
>> all in favor? That passes by unanimous vote.
