A note regarding item no. 43, a request to -- to postpone consideration of it until next week. You are show the other -- two in executive session, don't we? Okay. We announced that we would take up number 32 in executive session and that is the security exception to the open meetings act 551.076 of the Texas government code. 42. Receive briefing from county attorney and authorize county attorney to hire expert(s) in otis daniels, that's the consultation with attorney exception to the open meetings act, 43 postponed to next week. 44. Consider and take appropriate action on compensation and classification of the director of facilities management position. That's personnel matters exception to the open meetings act. 45. Consider approval of purchase contract with mre ranch, ltd. For the acquisition of approximately 344.984 acres of land in connection with the balcones canyonlands conservation plan, and take appropriate action. Action. 2. That's the real property exception to the open meetings act. 46. Consider and take appropriate action on employment issues regarding a senior planner in the criminal justice planning department. That's the personnel matters exception to the open meetings act, also. We will discuss these matters in executive session, but will return to open court before taking any action.

>> we have just returned from executive session where we discussed the following items: number 32 involving security issues at certain county buildings. We did basically identify several issues. We'll have this back on the court's agenda in the immediate future, probably no action taken today other than to thank the county sheriff for her assistance. And to request that she keep working on these issues with us. And when a report is ready for consideration and action, we'll have it back on the court's agenda, and hopefully that is in the knot too distant future. Item number 42 involving the claim of otis daniels against Travis County. I move that we authorize the county attorney to hire appropriate experts.
>> second.
>> any more discussion? All in favor? That passes by unanimous vote. We did not discuss number 43. That will be back on the court's agenda next week. Number 44 involves compensation and classification of the director of facilities management position.
>> I would move that this position be reclassified to grade 30, salary be slotted in at 109450, that is inclusive of any current supplements.
>> second.
>> any more discussion? All in favor? That passes by unanimous vote. 45 involves the acreage available for the bccp.
>> I would move that we extend the offer of $8,220,000 for the first contract to the mre ranch limited of the 344.984 acres of land.
>> all in favor? That passes by unanimous vote. 46 involves a senior planner in the criminal justice planning department. Move that we authorize a pay increase of up to $52,500.
>> second.
>> and that we authorize the manager of that department basically to communicate that, execute the appropriate paperwork. Any more discussion? Fall in favor? That passes by unanimous vote. There being no business today...
>> move adjourn.
>> second.
>> that is right, isn't it, melissa? All in favor? That passes by unanimous vote.
