6. Consider and take appropriate action on elevators in the blackwell-thurman criminal justice center. Last time we discussed this item we did request a survey to get some idea about whether lawyers, criminal defense lawyers would use the stairs and based on the survey they all said they would pretty much.
>> that's correct. 95% of the 60 individuals that were polled said that they would use the stairs if it was available to them and that they would welcome the ability to use the stairs to get to the court floors. The cost of the stairs is $13,560 and we recommend that come from the cjc bond funds that are remaining.
