Citizens communication is next. One citizen has gned in. Charles meek. This gives Travis County residents an opportunity to address the Commissioners court on any matter not on the agenda. >> good morning.
>> good morning. My wife and I own property in western Travis County. We are building a home on our property which is near spicewood and the so-called fall creek valley. And I'm here this morning to ask that we be added to the -- our names be added to those people who are listed as interested parties in certain tracts adjacent to ours, with whom we share a common roadway. One of those tracts is owned by mr. George suman, I understand that his property was red tagged this week because of an illegal development. A second owner is mr. Tedd stewart who owns property in various names adjacent to ours, including great plains water systems, captain enterprises, cypress creek land and cattle company, possibly key enterprises. There have been persistent rumors and talk about a gun range going in on this property which would be in the middle of a number of homes and would be detrimental to we think property values in the environment there if that should happen. So I would be glad to give the appropriate person either a letter or a tax map that would identify the properties that we are interested in. Ours and the adjacent properties. If you -- if you would be so kind as to tell me how to proceed.
>> I think if you -- actually, joe gieselman there is the one that you -- joe, do you have a card on ya? I -- my guess if you share that with joe verbally or reduce it to writing sent it to him, he's the one that ought to get it and we can certainly keep you notified.
>> I might take this opportunity, too, to compliment this lady over here in the striped sweater that was so pleasant and helpful to me when I came wandering around the building this morning. Thank you.
>> thank you.
>> mr. Meeks, let me ask you, have you spoken with mr. Stewart in the last couple of weeks?
>> yes. I did speak to him yesterday.
>> do you think that he is still of the intentions to --
>> well,, you know, the -- this thing has been apparently up and down. He mentioned to me yesterday that he has someone interested in buying the -- one of these properties adjacent to ours that has this in mind. It's -- now whether -- now how much fact there is to that, I don't know. But it just keeps resurfacing.
>> I don't mind talking to ted and if you will be in touch with my office, we can -- we can -- you and I can keep an open line of communication as well. Because I had talked to him a few weeks ago and he had mentioned that that was something that he was thinking about and -- at one time that he did clearly get the message that that wasn't did something -- wasn't something that a number of people wanted. If you don't mind to do that, I will work with you on that and work with ted as well.
>> thank you very much, Commissioner.
>> thank you.
>> nice to meet you.
>> anybody else for citizens communication? If so please come forward.
