Housing Finance Corporation

Now let's call to order the Travis County housing finance corporation. One item of business with two parts. 1, consider and take appropriate action regarding the following requests. A, release of liens on two rooms with a home downpayment assistance loans, and 1-b -- excuse me, reinvestment payments to Texas department of housing and community affairs for repayment of two home project loans.
>> good afternoon. And merry christmas, happy holidays. I’m harvey Davis, manager of the corporation. And we've had two home loans repaid. The first loan was made in late 1996 for $1,894. The second in early 1997 for $2,000. If you'll recall, these loans were made to Travis County residents to assist them in the purchase of their first home. They were non-interest-bearing loans. So I’m requesting board approval to release the liens on these two projects and to reimburse the Texas department of housing and community affairs those same amounts. They were the source of funds for us to have that program.
>> so we want to release the names because they have repaid the loans?
>> yes, sir.
>> we take the money and give it back to the state.
>> that's right.
>> that makes sense to me. Move approval.
>> second.
>> all -- any discussion? It's just something we ought to do.
>> we are required to do it and we've done it many times in the past.
>> all in favor? That passes by unanimous vote. This turned out to be a real good program for these homeowners.
>> move adjourn.
>> second.
>> yes, I think so.
>> the answer to that is yes. [laughter] all in favor? We're out of here. Thank you very much. Thank all of you for the outstanding service for the corporation. We know you have one more week of work. Now let's call back to order -- we did adjourn, didn't we?
>> yes, sir.
