If we can get pete out of the way to 32 and 33, I guess there's no news, right? Mr. Baldwin? 32 is to receive briefing and take appropriate action regarding the prohibition of a sale or use of restricted fireworks in the unincorporated areas of Travis County. 33, receive briefing and take appropriate action regarding the prohibition of outdoor burning in the unincorporated areas of Travis County.
>> good morning, pete baldwin with Travis County emergency management coordinator. Merry christmas and happy holidays. No, sir, there's been no change. In fact, if anything, conditions have gotten worse considering the fact that we've had several dry cold fronts. We continue to be nearly a foot short in our annual rainfall in the deficit. In fact, the scary part about it is we're starting to see more fires, we're starting to run more fires. The one this weekend that charred about 70 to 80 acres out on 71 west, we've seen fires start from hay bailers. We've seen a few starting from fireworks. So at this time there is no change. In fact, if anything else, conditions are beginning to get worse because of the low humidity and the dry cold and lack of rainfall.
>> okay. So the burning ban against burning outdoors in unincorporated areas will stay in place. And I take it no action basically leaves the order in place?
>> the order is in place until January 7th.
>> unfortunately, if you were waiting to buy -- what kind of fireworks are those?
>> stick rockets and missiles with finz are the ones that are prohibited in Travis County and most of the surrounding counties.
>> both sale and use?
>> yes.
>> but the regular firecrackers?
>> those are still okay.
>> thank you very much. So by taking no action on 32 and 33, we leave both orders in place. And those two will be on the agenda next week.
