Item 29
We did indicate this morning that we would try to call up the elevator item at -- well, let's call up another one quicker if we can, should be real quick. 29. Consider and take appropriate action to approve resolution regarding section 147 (f) approval for delivery of loans for the financing of cultural education facilities within Travis County, Texas for goodwill industries of central Texas and goodwill temporary services. When I looked at my backup yesterday, I did not have a signed clarification that in fact a public hearing had occurred. Commissioner Sonleitner said that I have one right here, I guess. It was on December 15th.
>> yes, sir.
>> I guess this is a copy, nancy turnquist.
>> nancy is here to answer any questions that the Commissioners court would like to ask.
>> how was notice of the public hearing given ms. Harquist?
>> judge and Commissioners, for the record, my name is nancy heyquist with wincrest, seacrest, notice was given in the Williamson county sun and the Austin american-statesman about two weeks prior to the public hearing.
>> okay. Did anybody appear to give comments.
>> no one did appear.
>> judge bawfd on the certificate of the public hearing having occurred as it was supposed to, I would move approval of this agenda item.
>> second.
>> any reason this should not be granted, mr. Davis?
>> not that I know of.
>> basically what we are doing is authorizing the city of [indiscernible] to issue $10 million worth of bonds to finance a couple of projects for goodwill industries in Travis County. And our approval, our consent I guess is required because the projects are located in Travis County.
>> that's correct.
>> that's correct.
>> any more discussion? All in favor? That passes by unanimous vote. Thank you very much.
>> thank you very much.
>> thank you for coming down.
