Citizens Communication
Citizens communication is next. And one citizen and a county employee have signed in, charles a. Williams.
>> good morning.
>> hi, charles.
>> good morning.
>> good morning, I'm charles williams, [indiscernible], here to report on this last Sunday's 9th lake track under water cleanup which was a tremendous success despite the little rain that we had, although if you are a diver, a little rain, what does that matter to you? [laughter] about 700 volunteer divers plunged into the lake as early as 7:30 a.m. And over 200 land volunteers took to the parks and also around the lake. We dispersed about 10 locations for the divers and within about -- it was about five, six hours, we gathered over six tons of trash. We had two 40 cubic [indiscernible] overflowing with the trash from Lake Travis. As years go on we hope that will diminish, we hope people don't continue putting it in the lake. We had a good partnership. Lcra was supposed to be here with me, they couldn't make him, we were going to talk about our partnershiping. We do partnership with the colorado river foundation, lcra and of course Travis County parks natural resources to make this happen. It took a lot of effort and the effort showed off because it was a tremendous success and they are ready to go for another one because of the successes that we had.
>> good.
>> that's it, I want to pass out the t-shirts.
>> all right.
>> did that lottery lake level any? Affect this fema deal that we are having to deal with.
>> could be. [laughter]
>> what was the weirdest thing that they found, charles?
>> the weirdest thing that we found was a dog toyment the most expensive thing that we found was a digital camera. We found a lot of rod and reels, a lot of bicycles, motors, so -- so some people are missing some of their stuff.
>> does the dog toy say dog toy on it, how did you get that?
>> well, sir, when I asked them to describe the dog toy, they say no we are not going to describe it, take it for what we said it's a dog toy. We will have to leave it at that.
>> thank you charles.
>> anybody else for citizens communication whether you signed in or not, asked to address the court on any matter not on the agenda?
