11. Take appropriate action on amendments to transfers. Charles, we'll get to you next. Actually, there's only one, but a big one, huh?
>> yes, sir, it is. It's a request from emergency services to transfer the remaining balance in the tech reserve to that department to handle the end of years accruals that they're getting relating to the invoices from the city of Austin, the operation of the c-tech for f.y. '03 for budgeting reserve, the operating costs to be move into the the department once the cost are more realized -- more readily real -- apparent. The invoices are just started coming for that proposal. The city of Austin funds the expenditures and then they submit invoices. We're just now receiving the invoices and the department is encumbering the expenditures. We didn't want to have any surprises in f.y. '04 of funds not being able to pay the invoices for the previous year.
>> yes, it is likely that the amount will be less than what was budgeted in which case the funds will fall into the fund balance in f.y. '04.
>> for that I move approval.
>> that's it.
>> discussion?
>> just a quick question, in terms of it falling to ending fund balance, is it going to stay attached to the program for next year.
>> what I believe is going to happen is that we are still receiving invoices from the city of Austin, and I'm not entirely confident that we will have all of them prior to this year, but there will be some rolled over from this current fiscal year...
>> there is an attachment so that the things that keep coming through from '03 whoa continue to pay for?
>> the funds would be rolled over as an encumbrance.
>> cool. Thank you.
>> anymore discussion? All in a favor? That passes by unanimous vote.
