16. Present combined results of fy 2004 budget agenda requests from individual members of the Commissioners court for discussion at budget mark-up.
>> you have before you the summary of the agenda request that had been made by the members of the Commissioners court. I'm here in no small part of council advice on a process to follow that's appropriate. You have -- you have a 16-page form. Some of you completed a summary, some of you completed the long form. We simply have reproduced that showing which -- which Commissioner made or judge made which -- made which request to discuss an item during mark up. And we then color coded it in such a way that when there were three, four or five of you that wanted to talk about something, made it orange. Two of you that wanted to talk about something, we made it blue. Only one of you we left it alone. This is a way to manage 400 plus issues that are on the table. Markup starts tomorrow at 1:30, I assume this will be a helpful tool as you go through the issues at hand. Next Tuesday you have on the agenda a -- a -- a conclusion for you to make on the proposed tax rate. And that during markup you should be able to land on a tax rate which would then appear next Tuesday or beyond the court's -- be on the court's agenda next Tuesday and then the add is required the next day. On the tax rate, to allow the budget to be adopted on September 30th.
