27, judge, is one of mine.
>> number 27 is to consider and take appropriate action on request to provide security equipment for the tax assessor-collector's office at the airport facility.
>> judge, also, a-2-a and b are part of this discussion.
>> a-2-a is to consider and take appropriate action on modification number 2 to contract jc 020107-dm, job order number 23 to architectural habitat of Austin, incorporated, for exterior construction work at 5001 airport boulevard and a-2-b is to consider and take appropriate action on modification number it to contract jc 0207 dm, job order number 23, the architectural habitat of Austin, incorporated, for k renovation, clarifications at 5001 airport boulevard for millwork for construction wall caps and the contract counter back splash.
>> yes, judge. I've been talking about him today. Judge Biscoe, this modification incorporates all the things that we've been -- the security system, the millwork, the wall caps, the back splash and exterior design for a total of $372,835.10. And -- [papers shuffling - audio interference] we hope this is it. But some of the things came up late, like the security system and some of the other things, so this is just to complete the work at the airport location. And I believe all the monies were transferred this morning, and so all the money is in the right place.
>> I'm with the managing department. I think this was approved today, the transfer, and the rest of the money is within the budget that we have already.
>> okay. Most of this is the security for the tax assessor's space out on airport that we discussed --
>> yes, sir.
>> and that was $78,000. The largest cost in this change order is the exterior design that they're doing.
>> if I may explain something about the exterior design. What we're doing right now is we're going to change what the existing walls in there and the window because they're single windows and it's not up to the code. And because of we need to put a facade right there with the storefront, which has two windows to meet the code, so we talked to the city of Austin and they are working on that system that can meet the code and provide also an insulation and energy efficiency inside the building. Really that's what the facade is all about.
>> so we're still working within the budget that we've established, with the exception that I think the tax office had come forward with the money related to the vault. That was a special issue that she brought money forward to help us out.
>> yeah. Just like the Commissioners said. And with the approval of this, I think we're still on our schedule that September 20th we're going to move the tax office to their new location.
>> by September 20th? Issue it's the date we're going to move the tax office from downtown to airport boulevard building.
>> okay. Move approval of 27 and a-2-a and b. All in favor? That passes by unanimous vote.
>> thank you.
