6 b, approve and review requests regarding applications and proposals to continue and we will pick up that in judgment a moment. B, contract with the office of the attorney general for the statewide automated victim notification. The grant provides state funding for the crime victim notification system --
>> this was something that the evercom contract was paying for and now it's being picked up. What happens to the $82,000 that -- it's coming to Travis County, but what's happening to that money? Is it being added to our revenue estimate and going into the general fund?
>> I think it will be is the answer. It isn't currently part of the revenue estimate. I think once Commissioners court takes action, we can send the information down to the auditor's office and hopefully it will be included as additional revenue in the next estimate.
>> that's what I wanted to make sure since this is money that will still be coming to Travis County, is this will be included within the next revenue estimate that we get, which gets us another $82,000 towards our goals.
>> any more discussion?
>> move approval.
>> the county attorney --
>> that money can only be added to the revenue estimate if the evercom contract -- the option on the contract is exercised. And that hasn't been done yet either.
>> when is that coming?
>> I am not sure when -- it's been sent out to evercom and evercom has signed it. It's whenever it hits the agenda. I don't have any impact on when it actually hits the agenda so I'm not sure when it hits the agenda.
>> when is it supposed to hit our agenda because it obviously has a deadline to get renewed?
>> the deadline to renewal is September 30th. So we really have, like, five weeks in there before --
>> I would encourage the contract to get to us as soon as possible so that the appropriate information can be sent to the revenue gurus for inclusion in our revenue.
>> in the meantime, this particular service, notification service to the victims of inmates that have been released from our prison system will continue because of the statewide initiative that the state has picked up, of course, with this, but it will not be impaired whereby victims will not be notified with this particular action today. In other words, there will be a continuation of this particular service.
>> that would be correct, Commissioner.
>> pardon me?
>> that is right. The system should be a seamless transition if it has the same corporation doing the same contracts.
>> so both seeds feel comfortable they will not be abandoned by what we're doing here today as far as victims being notified.
>> that's correct. In fact, it will expand to 254 counties at that time.
>> thank you.
>> all in favor of the motion? That passes by unanimous vote.
