Number 6, discuss comment letter for proposed tceq permit number 04484, magna-flow sludge land application on taylor lane near fm 969 and take appropriate action.
>> john, last week, we were here on this last week, we had looked at some language at that time, but there needed to be a little more fine tuning on this particular letter to tceq opposing this permit. -- permit number 04484 by magna-flow. Is there any way possible I guess during this presentation to just maybe hit on some of those things that have been brought up as far as the new position? Not new position, but the updated language that will be sent to tceq on this particular item?
>> yeah, I mean --
>> just briefly, if possible.
>> no problem. John kool, environmental officer. We had -- I would assign 80, 90% version last Tuesday and we really didn't need to go over it at all. We don't really need to today. All we really did was sort of tighten up some of the fact backgrounds that we were still researching at the time. We literally have to go down to the tceq offices and pull files and check with subdivisions here internally and make sure that certain things we're claiming are true, of course. The other thing that i'll bring up is -- well, before I move onto the map, the letter we did refine and get out to you all Friday afternoon, so hopefully you've updated your backup. And last Tuesday I handed out an updated map that had a better -- I think a better representation of where the actual application was and so forth. So, you know, I think we're basically ready to go. Tom had a few, you know, what I would kind of put into the category of editorial changes. Nothing of big substance, I don't think, that we're still putting in here. But what we had hoped to discuss with you today is any corrections or additions or subtractions that you might have had after reviewing the letter.
>> after my review of it, I don't have any at this time. I don't know what the rest of the court members may have after their review of the latest comment letter. But have I no problem with the way this is drafted.
>> okay.
>> I have a few minor changes recommended.
>> okay.
>> they really are more of a typo nature. I can just give you my copy and you can look at them and use your judgment on them. I don't think they are substantive.
>> I want to second your motion.
>> I want to go ahead and move approval of item 6 and that we get this -- I would like for it to be hand-delivered if possible and make sure it's recorded as received as today because of the time lines that we're dealing with, the present daytime lines.
>> right.
>> so it will have to be hand-delivered to tceq. Opposing the permit of magna-flow of permit number 04484, and I would like to move approval, judge.
>> with the judge's --
>> including the judge's typo indications that we will submit to you.
>> editing.
>> editing. That's a better word. Editing.
>> seconded by Commissioner Gomez.
>> uh-huh.
>> any more discussion? All in favor? That passes by unanimous vote.
>> thank you.
>> john, if you would, just look at the ones i've highlighted in yellow. All the other markings [inaudible]. Thank you very much.
>> thank you.
