Now that brings us to executive session.
>> you just talked to mr. Hilly aboutur item a-1, and they would respond.
>> [inaudible - no mic].
>> I don't think if we could get direction from them out here on the amount of money. [overlapping speakers].
>> if that's your preference.
>> we can come back next week or y'all can give us direction right now.
>> I want to look at this again.
>> so are we doing it today or next week? It will be back on next week.
>> now, we have been asked to pull item 50 in the executive session items for tnr. Any of the others that we need to --
>> number 49 I have not heard back from the manager, so we have nothing to discuss.
>> we've met our contractual obligations related to the very strict deadlines, so we basically reject it?
>> right.
>> so we're cool.
>> 49 will be back on next week?
>> i'll just repost it whenever I hear back from them.
>> well, that puts it back in their court. We've already acted as we needed to do in the time frame. I say pull it and bring it back.
>> now, the open meetings questions, do we need to postpone those? How much time do we have?
>> I have to walk out the door at 5:30, y'all.
>> I think everybody has got something they need to go to.
>> leave at 5:30. Out the door at 5:30.
>> we need to take 44. All right. We have to do is in executive session. As an attorney you'll have that one, right?
>> 44 is to consider and take appropriate action on best option for management of Travis County school land and in throk morton county. That concerns options about how to contract for management services there. 45, do we want to take those today?
>> we can -- at the court's pleasure, we can do that next week.
>> I was going to say, can I have a previous announcement --
>> 46, Jonestown community center lease?
>> we need that one.
>> 46 is to discuss and take appropriate action regarding the lease for the jones town community center and the clinic. That's the real property exception to the open meetings act. Number 44 was the consultation with attorney. 47, consultation with attorney. Do we need that, the danziger?
>> I think she's prepared to talk to you today.
>> 47 is to receive briefing from county attorney and take appropriate action regarding barbara oakley as legal guardian for richard dan singer versus the city of Austin, hector polanco, et al, consultation with attorney exception to the open meetings act. 48, receive briefing from county attorney and consider extended period of administrative leave for five days with pay for mary helen garcia, employee of juvenile probation department and take appropriate action. Consultation with attorney exception to the open meetings act. And 51 is to consider and take appropriate action on applicants interviewed for criminal justice coordinator. That's the personnel matters exception to the open meetings act. We will discuss these in executive session and return to open court before taking any action.
>>
>> we've just returned from executive session where we discussed item number 44 involving the management of Travis County school land in throckmorton county.
>> judge, I move that we renegotiate the current contract.
>> any more discussion? All in favor? That passes by unanimous vote. We did not discuss 45. That's postponed until next week. 46, the matter involving the lease agreement for the jones town community center and with the city of Jonestown.
>> I move that we sign up for the next five years and with the rate that we signed off on.
>> second.
>> and authorize you to --
>> and that's right. And I will execute those documents today.
>> the second by Commissioner Gomez. Any more discussion? All in favor? That passes by unanimous vote. We did not discuss number 47. It will be back on the agenda next week. August 12th. Number 48 we were asked to pull. Numbers -- number 49 next week. We did not discuss that one.
>> actually, we're pulling that one, judge. We did what we were supposed to do on 49.
>> 49 we pulled. And 50 --
>> 50 we pulled.
>> my staff may want to leave that item on until noon Thursday if you don't hear from them?
>> that's a mental note that I have.
>> we need to hear back, right? So from my perspective, we pull 49 and pull 50 until further notice. And on 51, we didn't discuss that and I don't think we need to take any formal action, but a subcommittee of Commissioners Gomez and Sonleitner have follow-up work for us to do. We'll have this item back on the agenda next week in the event that there is further discussion and action. And that does it for business today.
>> move adjourn.
>> second.
>> all in favor? That passes by unanimous vote.
