Williams, consultation with attorney exception to the open meetings act. And the final item today will be to consider and take appropriate action on ikts interviewed for criminal justice coordinator. We were asked by Commissioner Davis to postpone consideration of this item. Our challenge is to determine what part of this item we could make progress on today. And hopefully put ourselves in a better position to take final action next Tuesday, but we will discuss this item in part today. We'll discuss all of these items in executive session, but will return to open court before ache taking any -- taking any action. .
>> we've just returned from executive session. We did not announce and did not discuss item number 45. Number 46 pertains to mary helen garcia. I move that we authorize extended period of administrative leave from July 23rd through August 6th of 2003.
>> second.
>> any more discussion? All in favor? That passes by unanimous vote. 47 covers the claim of mitzy mccoy versus Travis County short program. Discussed that, no action. The county attorney will put that back on the court's agenda when we need to address it. 48 involves convenienty's bakehouse and deli at the farmers market.
>> judge, I move we reject the proposed lease which is one year plus four one-year options and that we counter saying we would find acceptable a one-year lease with three one-year options, which would be consistent with the maximum that we have offered other similar lease proposals.
>> second.
>> and it be put back on the agenda at the appropriate place.
>> any more discussion? All in favor? That passes by unanimous vote. 49 we did not discuss. Instead of expecting until next week, we've been asked to pull it until further notice. 50 we got an update on the sh 130 and howard lane arterial. No action required today. We will have it back on the agenda for next week. Just in case we need to take action. 51 involves the robert d. King and janet k. King tract of land.
>> I'm happy to make this if you don't mind. I move that we --
>> [inaudible].
>> sure, go ahead. That we approved the purchase contract with the kings and filling in the amount being offered at $640,000. .
>> I second.
>> any more discussion? All in favor? Unanimous unanimous.
>> and could you also please post that one next week.
>> okay. 52 involves the claim of darla robberson. No action required today. Unless there is a motion about the source of funding. We'll leave it as it is then. 53 involves the matter of helen hodge. Move we authorize the county judge to sign the settlement and release as soon as same has been prepared and that we authorize expedition -- expediting payment in this matter.
>> second.
>> judge, that was 53 versus 43.
>> 53.
>> okay. I said 43? Item number 53. Seconded by Commissioner Gomez. Any more discussion? All in favor? That passes by unanimous vote. 54 I do think one or two members of the court should volunteer to take the follow-up action that we discussed in preparation for next week. I really doubt that I'm going to have the time based on other commitments I have made to the court.
>> I can do some things on Wednesday and Thursday, but i'll be in the proverbial dentist chair on Friday, so I'm happy to make whatever calls I can --
>> I can try to make some calls. Phone numbers to reach the [inaudible].
>> okay. Put those together then. Check and see.
>> within we had kind of a summary list of reference questions.
>> I do have those.
>> that would be very helpful.
>> Margaret and I will coordinate with your office.
>> I will have more time Monday, so if I -- if there is like an update available late Friday, we can just do it Monday. We'll have that back on the agenda next week also. Hopefully for follow-up and final action. That does it for today.
>> move adjourn.
>> second.
>> all in favor? That passes by unanimous vote. We indicated earlier Commissioner Davis would miss the entire meeting.
