Item 38

View captioned video.

38, consider and take appropriate action on request for approval of appointment of election judges for an on term of two years, beginning August bellamn 2003.
>> what i've brought you today is the list of submission of names from democratic and republican parties for a two-year term beginning August 1, 2003. They submitted 190 names between the two. Most of the folks are experienced election judges. We're happy to have them. And the -- what I would like for you to do today is, assuming you approve this, then would you please roll the item over for next week and that will give the county attorney's office the time to prepare the order pursuant to your decision today. And the county clerk is now responsible for either gaining additional names from the parties for the judges -- for the precincts we don't yet have judges or fill it in with our own neighborhood recommendation.
>> questions, comments? Then I move approval.
>> second.
>> any more discussion? All in favor? That passes by unanimous vote.
>> thank you.
>> that will be back on next week for approval of the order.
>> order for the judges. Then back on the 5th for the order of the first item.
>> thank you.
>> thank you.
>> first item the order will be much later, not next week.
>> I will do an agenda request for that, but if you will roll this over.
