38. Consider recommendation from tax assessor collector and planning and budget office to establish parcel rate for tax year 2003 (fy 04) at $1.00, and take appropriate action.
>> judge, my question is on this one is whether the tax office and p.b.o. Appropriately have figured in the huge jump in what health insurance is going to cost for the personnel that are involved in the tax collection/billing collection process. To be -- to be fixed. Because we are trying to narrow the gap between what it really does cost and what we collect to do this. And we are making a little bit of a head way, 7.5% increase, and a 6% -- anyway. We are making -- we are narrowing the gap. But the thing is that we may not make any head way on that gap and I'm just asking over the next week, I asked dusty if we have to do this today and we do have one more meeting where we can appropriately just double check whether we have appropriately figured in the health insurance costs into this equation. Then it may be that we come to the same conclusion, but I would like to have that confirmation.
>> the figures that we use for personnel calls were based on this past year and so certainly would not include any increases or if you all are looking into doing anything in the budget to add anything with this, we are not taking those into account either. We will certainly get with p.b.o. And work through these numbers and bring back something to you next week if you would like.
>> that would be great. That would be my request. If light of what we last week talked about in terms of the county contribution related to health insurance, if the tax office and p.b.o. Could reassess their recommendation and get it back to us next week so that we can act any time -- in a timely manner. That's -- if that's all right.
>> thank you.
>> sounds good.
>> that's fine with me.
>> okay. That will be back on next week.
