17. Consider whether to issue call for recommendations to name the building at 5501 airport boulevard, and take appropriate action.
>> good afternoon.
>> my own view on this, y'all, is that it would help us for nine to 12 months to have Travis County in the name of this building.
>> I agree.
>> that way it will help people locate it.
>> identify it.
>> yeah. And then when people have sort of gotten used to going to that location to conduct county's business, then I think we can name it after a person, that would make a loot more sense.
>> that's fine.
>> the difference I think like the sheriff's building, I think the minority -- the majority of the people who were going there were county employees. But this I expect a whole lot more residents to be going there to do business.
>> right.
>> correct.
>> so are you suggesting deferring this for a year.
>> that would be my recommendation.
>> it's a good one.
>> any objection to that? I know there have been -- whoever has the name, that they would just hold off on those and we would call it Travis County --
>> Travis County --
>> think of some name for it. Travis County whatever it does. We can kind of describe it.
>> right.
>> simply it would be best --
>> sure.
>> no, I -- now I know for a short time folk will probably keep running to the old buildings that they have been used to like going to the tax assessor's office. Once they know it's out there, though --
>> I anticipate that we will prepare a press release [indiscernible]
>> right.
>> that's a good suggestion, judge.
>> I think so, too.
>> very good, judge.
>> with no objection, we will do that.
>> thank you,.
>> thank you all.
>> you were looking for directions anyway, right?
>> yes.
