Item number 10 on the grant proposals, applications, contracts and permissions. A was not on consent. Approve a grant application to the office of rural community affairs forcep number 3 kennedy ridge water grant. The grant provides funds for additional capacity and fire flow protection to the existing system. Commissioner Davis, I think you had a question.
>> yes, just one or two. Let staff, if they will, tell exactly what they are doing in this particular grant application. Of course, this is addressing the colonial situation that exists out at kennedy ridge. This will be the water grant phase of that. And of course this will be the step 3 of the grant application that is to go to the office of rural community affairs, which is sig can't, so this is -- significant, so this is just the application phase. However, I notice the residents are here, they may want to say something as we try to bring this particular colonia to a close. We tried to deal with the wastewater portion so this is the water portion of this particular phase and it's trying to make the folks whole out there and to actually bring their -- this colonia situation to closure. So if you all would like to --
>> i'll just mention this is a $295,000 grant application and no county match other than in-kind services. So i'll turn it over to melinda.
>> it's ready to go?
>> it's ready to go.
>> i'll second your motion.
>> it's been moved and seconded. Not that we don't want to hear from melinda, but if it's all good news.
>> president of the neighborhood association, thank you for coming down and the engineers and staff.
>> whom we acknowledge in the audience. Thank you for the motion and second. Further discussion by members of the court? All in favor? That passes by unanimous vote. Great presentation.
