28. Approve modification no. 4 to contract no. 00ae606jj, ch2m hill, inc., Professional engineering services for the blake manor road design project. (tnr) (Commissioner Davis)
>> we want to make sure that this is the -- in conjunction judge with the [indiscernible] and blake manor reconstruction project. Of course I think this is the extra work that was not -- was not to have been forecasted as far as the original scope of service. However, this is the additional work that I think that is going to bring in the traffic light at the 290 and kimbro intersection to further enhance the safety areas. I just need to ask staff one question, again publicly, and that is we have been getting a lot of continued calls and I know you all have been bombarded by calls, also, by a lot of concerned citizens. Blake manor road projects. And that is that -- that intersection at 290 and kimbro, among other things. I would like to find out when and where are we at this point as far as the installation of that temporary traffic signal at kimbro and 290.
>> the first thing that has to be done is the warrant study and design and installation. That's what this is about.
>> right.
>> once that is done, we expect the signal to be in and -- in three to four weeks.
>> from today's action.
>> no, no, the study first has to be done. The design itself will probably take a couple of weeks.
>> then from that standpoint?
>> then it will be installed.
>> okay. About six weeks total, is that what you are saying.
>> if we can get any faster, we will try that.
>> I wanted to make sure that I have got that clear because we have been -- the persons that i've been receiving phone calls from, your staff, my staff, trying to expedite this as soon as possible. We thought -- with all of those safety pieces in mind.
>> I would like to move approval so --
>> second.
>> joe, can we let the members of the neighborhood association that came down that indicated an interest in this, let them know what's going on. Maybe roughly the time scheduled we think --
>> yes.
>> any more discussion? All in favor? That passes by unanimous vote. Thank you very much, frank.
>> thank you.
