We've come to executive session. 41 is is to receive briefing from county attorney and take appropriate action with regard to claim of dr. Mark karakourtis for payment for surgical Karen dered to inmates of the Travis County jail. 42, discuss, approve and take appropriate action regarding real estate issues for office space for various county departments. That's the real property exception to the open meetings act. That's also announced this under consultation with attorney as I will have a couple of legal questions. 43, receive briefing from county attorney and authorize county attorney to accept, reject or counteroffer for settlement and/or take appropriate action in the matter of fort view incorporated versus Travis County Texas in the district court of Travis County, Texas, 353rd judicial district court, cause number gn 300127, consultation with attorney exception to the open meetings act. 44, receive briefing from county attorney's office on Travis County's legal enforcement and compliance options to respond to complaints about violation of environmental laws or regulations at landfills in Travis County and take appropriate action. This is posted just in case we need to ask follow-up questions, under the consultation with attorney exception to the open meetings act. 45, receive briefing from county attorney and tnr department and/or take appropriate action regarding right-of-way transactions relating to county roadway connections to sh 130. Consultation with attorney and the real property exception to the open meetings act. Number 46 is to receive briefing from county attorney and authorize county attorney to retain necessary experts and take appropriate action concerning the matter of blayn williams versus margo frasier, Travis County sheriff, in the united states district court, western district of Texas, Austin division, civil action number a-01-ca-470, consultation with attorney exception to the open meetings act. 47, receive briefing from county attorney and authorize county attorney to accept, reject or counteroffer for settlement and take appropriate action in the matter of merlin spanky handily versus Travis County, Texas, city of Austin, Texas, diana dinwiddie individually and in her individual capacity, casey pink individually and in his official capacity. Gordonberg, kevin mcdonald and richard herring ton in the united states district court, western district of Texas, Austin division. Consultation with attorney exception to the open meetings act. And number 48 is to receive legal advice on request from mr. Kenneth sneed to waive penalty and interest on taxes due and take appropriate action. Consultation with attorney exception to the open meetings act. I look over a notice that we got from the county attorney's office asking us to roll item number 43 one week, so notwithstanding the previous announcement, we will not discuss 43 in executive session, but will instead have it back on the court's agenda on March 25th of '03. We will discuss the other announced items and we'll return to open court before taking any action.

Pursuant to a court order, also. 48, we asked legal counsel to chat with mr. Snead's attorney, find out exactly what the request is so we can take appropriate action. That will be back on next Tuesday, also.
