Corporations

Now let's call to order the Austin Travis County housing corporation. The first item of business, to consider approval of representation letter for deloitte and touch and take appropriate action.
>> good afternoon, harvey Davis, manager of the corporation. And this is the representation letter similar to the letter that the commissioners court approved last week that is the final document in the audit process. And basically that the board is representing to the outside auditor that we have disclosed all the material facts.
>> that's why I move approval.
>> second.
>> any more discussion? All in favor? That is. Hat passes byunanimous vote. Number 2 is to consider a contract with hunter and hunter consultants incorporated to apply for a grant and, if awarded, administer the corporation's home buyer assistance program, funded by the Texas department of housing and community affairs, and take appropriate action.
>> and this is putting into a contract form the agreement or the hiring provisions. When the board approved hiring hunter to prepare the grant for this process and the agreement, it had been reviewed by clint and he made some changes to it in addition, so this does have in the agreement the issues that he represented in his rfp.
>> okay. And although I cannot find the specific original agreement now, we believe it's been delivered to my office.
>> well, I have the ones in which mr. Hunter has signed.
>> that's the original.
>> that's the original. [ laughter ]
>> that's why I move approval.
>> second.
>> any more discussion? All in favor? That passes by unanimous vote. 3 is to consider a release of lien and b, reimbursement payment to Texas department of housing and community affairs for repayment of home project loan number 36662000-28 and take appropriate action.
>> and this is similar agenda item that we've had many times in the past. We did receive $1,144, which has been deposited in the corporation's account. And so I'm asking the board's approval to reimburse Texas department of housing and community affairs that amount and to release the lien on the party's home, which was purchased in March of 1997.
>> move approval of the release and reimbursement.
>> actually, this is a transfer of lien, not a release.
>> move transfer of the lien, plus reimbursement.
>> seconded by director Gomez. Any more discussion? All in favor? That passes by unanimous vote. Number 4 is to approve minutes of board of directors' meeting for February 18, 2003.
>> move.
>> second.
>> all in favor? That passes unanimously.
>> move adjourn.
>> second?
>> all in favor? That passes unanimously also.
>>
>> now let's call to order the rest of the corporation. Apparently the Travis County health facilities development corporation, capital industrial development corporation, the capital health facilities development corporation, Travis County development authority, Travis County cultural education facilities finance corporation. One item of business common to all of them, and that is to consider approval of representation letter for dlait and touche and take appropriate action. And mr. Davis has represented to us that because it was appropriate for us to approve the same letter representation or similar one for the housing finance corporation in Travis County is also good for these corporations.
>> yes, sir. That's my representation.
>> that's why I move approval. Seconded by director Gomez. Any more discussion? All in favor? That passes by unanimous vote.
>> move a massive adjournment vote.
>> all in favor? That passes unanimously.
