Item 36
36. Approve resolution approving public hearing and plan of financing regarding issuance of bonds for ascension health by indiana health finance authority, and take appropriate action. Indiana health authority will do the refinancing with you.
>> due to an error in my office, this didn't get over to you all for your backup, it's just the internal revenue code for the new financing in indiana to be tax exempt requires the governing body of Travis County to approve of the financing. That's really basically what this resolution does is approves that financing, even though Travis County or Travis County health facilities development corporation or any other entity related with -- with Travis County is going to be issuing any of these new bonds, the tax code still requires this approval.
>> that's -- we have that -- I have that to sign.
>> yes, sir, it's in the package, I will get you some extra copies.
>> okay.
>> not only do we have the letter dated February 14, 2003, to which I made reference earlier, but there's also a memo dated February 11, from cliff blunt and attached to that are several items. Including a January 30th, 2003 memo from douglas witt, who is the senior vice-president, chief financial officer of seton. And so seton --
>> altogether.
>> incorporate all of these into the motion as our decision is based on representations contained therein. Cliff blunt would say. So I move that we basically approve the public hearing that we had the plan of financing that the documents make reference to. And incorporate into the motion our reliance upon the documents that I -- that I referenced a moment ago. Memo dated February 14th, 2003, signed by mr. Barnett, mr. Sporamdo, the other signed by douglas witt, chief financial affairs officer of seton.
>> second.
>> any more discussion? All in favor that passes by unanimous vote. Thank you all very much for coming down. Am I the only one to sign these documents?
>> I will need to get you that --
>> we will sign them immediately, get them back to you.
>> thank you for your time.
>> thank you. Good to do business with you.
