3, approve proclamation recognizing the week of February 17 through 24, 2003, as national engineers week in Travis County.
>> whereas engineers encourage our school children to realize the practical power of their knowledge and support proficiency in math and science, and whereas we recognize the importance of engineers in our daily lives as we rely more than ever on their knowledge and skills to meet the challenges of the future, and whereas we appreciate the contributions of engineers to our county's infrastructure and quality of life, now therefore be it resolved that the Travis County commissioners court proclaims the week of February 16 through 22 as national engineers week and we welcome engineers from all over the state as they participate in their state banquet and in extending our best wishes for an enjoyable and productive stay in our county. I would move approval.
>> second.
>> and we have a number of our engineers that work here for Travis County and roger and mr. Geiselman as well.
