3. Presentation of a grant check from lcra to Travis County search and rescue team for dry suits.
>> hi, I'm maryanne neeley from the lower colorado river authority. And we are here to give you money for a really good cause. These are our board members, this is director wilkinson, director [inaudible] he will be presenting the check. Chris lehman is going to tell you what it's for. This will be very short, it doesn't take time to give money. We have a big check and a little check.
>> I'm chris lehman with Travis County search and rescue. We appreciate this funding of -- of 8 dry suits for the swift water rescue team. This will protect us from -- from pollutants and help us maintain body substance isolation in rescue operations. It will extend our operation range by protecting us from hypothermia, I really appreciate it.
>> our pleasure. These are our community development partnership grants. As you know lcra does not receive taxes, we receive our income from services. So we are happy to help out counties and areas that -- that are really worthwhile. Okay?
>> thank you very much.
>> thank you. [ applause ]
>> that check will find its way to the county treasurer, I guess, before the day is over. [laughter]
