The last executive session item will be 25, discuss certain personnel issues regarding starflight staff, receive legal advice, and take appropriate action. Under the consultation with attorney and the personnel matters exceptions to the open meetings act. We have previously been asked by mr. Hanley to discuss the part of this item involving him in open court. I'm assuming that that continues today and we will honor that request.
>> thank you.
>> we will discuss these items in executive session, and return to open court before taking any action and to conduct any discussion of mr. Hanl oe y that is -- hanley that is under the personnel matters part.

>> good afternoon. We've just returned from executive session. Where we discussed item 22, involving the property at 1622 east riverside drive in Austin. Move that we authorize county staff to proceed with efforts to relocate from this location on riverside to south park where we have located other lease space. That will authorize them to negotiate an appropriate lease to be presented to the commissioners court as soon as possible. That we ask the facilities staff to meet with the planning and budget to locate the $39,300 that we need in order to make this transfer work. That we accept the 9,002 hub dollars from its, and I believe part of the 39,000 needed is the difference of 6300 that we're short with the its need. Let's clarify that and be ready to act on that next Tuesday. Also, that we ask the county attorney's office to put together an appropriate written response to send to the landlord of the riverside lease property to be presented to the commissioners court for consideration next Tuesday. John?
>> yes, sir.
>> do you think we can get that out before then?
>> I would rather do the lease and the letter at the same time.
>> second.
>> that will be on the court's agenda next Tuesday. A motion and seconded by commissioner Gomez. Any further discussion? Did we cover everything, you think?
>> yes.
>> besides -- [ inaudible ]
>> pbo.
>> pbo is good at finding money. They'll find it for us. All in favor? That passes by unanimous vote. Number 23 involving a possible settlement in the matter of michelle rene weston versus sheriff frasier, et al. In this matter I move that we request the presence of the sheriff or one of her top aides in our discussion next Tuesday. That we ask the county attorney to check with the attorney for the claimant in this case to get whatever evidence of injury there is for us to consider as we consider the offer or counteroffer to settle this case.
>> second.
>> any more discussion? All in favor? That passes by unanimous vote. Number 24 involving right-of-way property for the grand avenue parkway project.
>> judge, I move that we reject the offer that we have received related to parcel number 10 and that we instruct tnr to have this piece of property appraised and move on from there.
>> any more discussion? All in favor? That passes by unanimous vote. Number 25 involving starflight staff. I move that we appoint commissioner son light fler to represent the commissioner's and to work with carol court land, acting executive manager and the appropriate representatives from the county attorney's office to work with city personnel to iron out and reduce to writing organizational issues involved in our interlocal with the city of Austin, and that they negotiate further with the city of Austin on some of the matters that we discussed involving starflight that do not involve mr. Hanley. We did indicate -- we did not get to the hanley matter in executive session today. We will specifically post that item 2 weeks from today and make sure that we not only give it due time for consideration, but we plan to take action on that day. Anything further today?
>> second.
>> we do apologize for not getting to it. The other matters that we discussed ended up taking all of our time. Two weeks from today we'll make sure that we have sufficient time to discuss it and take action. The motion was seconded by commissioner Davis. Any more discussion? On the general starflight issue, we'll have those posted next week. Let's have an appropriate wording, so if there are personnel matters for us to discuss, we can list the employees involved. They will not be mr. Hanley, though, okay? Any more discussion on that motion? All in favor? That passes by unanimous vote.
>> move to adjourn.
>> second.
>> all in favor? That passes unanimously also. ous vote.
