22. Review draft plan addressing state variance beds, as requested by the Texas commission on jail standards, and take appropriate action. Last week we did have a backup letter to consider. Commissioners daugherty and Gomez said they would go to the -- to the meeting with the sheriff. And -- and -- the letter and the backup being the same --
>> I will give you an update. We met with the staff of the Texas commission on jail standards yesterday and they were -- they were pleased with our approach and indications from them is that they are going to recommend that the commission approve our plan. >> we are after bexar county.
>> oh, goodie.
>> that's actually helpful, y'all, because they have got problems even worse.
>> we are also after -- another county, maverick county that they make bexar county sound good.
>> they do not have any recommendations as to the cover letter and backup that we --
>> they felt fine with the -- as we had it.
>> that's why I move approval.
>> second.
>> should we put this on the sheriff's stationery or the commissioners courted stationery.
>> we are attempting to find stationery that would just say county of travis. If not we will use yours, but we have the signature page separate here so you can go ahead and get it signed.
>> constitutional -- [inaudible]
>> any more discussion of the motion? All in favor? That passes by unanimous vote.
