Consent Items

View captioned video.

Consent items are next. Posted for consent are c 1 through c 4, we have pulled c 3. So c 3 is not part of the consent motion. We have been asked to add the following items to the consent motion, if you would like to discuss any of these separatedly please say so as we call out the number. Number 7, 8 a and b, 9 a, b and c. No amendments and transfers on 10. So no action required there. 11, 12 12 we pulled slot number 28 until further notice from either human resources or ms. Perez. The other items are routine personnel amendments. We do have someone here on -- somebody is here to speak on it, I think. [multiple voices]
>> 14.
>> judge, I have one quick question on 14, I haven't gotten my answer.
>> 14 will not be part of the consent motion. 15, 16, 20, hold on, nope, nope, nope, not 20.
>> not 20?
>> not 20.
>> those are unpaid volunteers.
>> no, I don't have any -- I have one or two question, I guess, of --
>> okay.
>> of p.b.o. On 20. I don't know whether constable van is coming out or not. If he's not I don't have any problem with that. 21, though, my backup only indicated 10 regular deputy officers. This has reserve ones, too, but my backup says 10. So on 21 --
>> judge, I think we need to make the decision whether to increase them or not. Then we would, I guess, on 21 approve the list.
>> 21 suggested as to the regular deputies. Not the reserves.
>> okay.
>> see what I'm saying?
>> gotcha.
>> we deal with reserves under 20.
>> basically at the time constable van gets the slots filled for his reserves, that's the appropriate time to come back and approve those; is that what you are saying?
>> I'm hoping to take 20 up today, also. But on 21 as to the regular deputy officers, 10 were listed in my backup.
>> that's correct.
>> so as to those 10, consent. That's what I'm suggesting.
>> okay.
>> 22. 23, 24, the bond on mr. Daugherty.
>> do we do that before the swearing in.
>> that's even oath in -- there's an oath in the bond itself. 25.
>> move approval of the consent items.
>> second.
>> is there anyone who would like for us to pull any of these items for separate discussion? All in favor? That passes by unanimous vote. Mr. Doherty will there be a swearing in ceremony this week?
>> yes, sir. There will be a swearing in at 2:00 Friday afternoon over at -- [inaudible]
>> okay.
>> this Friday?
>> this Friday, I will make sure that everybody gets that.
>> okay.
>> 2:00 p.m. In [inaudible]
>> thank you very much.
