Citizens Communication
Citizens communication is next. This is to give residents and non-residents
an opportunity to address the court on any matter not on the agenda for a
full three minutes. Kenneth snyder has signed in.
>> my name is kenneth snyder, north ridge acres, capital
city colonial. This here was in the chronicle, keep it in the chronicle, going
to put new stories in there, this is north ridge acres, I did give the judge
one up there. I think he threw it in the trash, but I did give you one up
there. This tells the truth except what the county says. Karen Sonleitner
I'm not a stalker like it says in here. I'm not a stalker. I come up here
begging for help means I'm a stalker -- it also says mike hilgenstein says,
we never took a dime out of the association. That's going to be a retracks
in there about that, if not a lawsuit. Because there's been a lot of accusations
made against the corps out there, people on it. You my wife was the secretary
on there for several years. We are going to find out, why we take $3,000 a
month, $3,000 a month in, we are supposed to be taking money out of the system
out there. The guy is making $10,000 a month now, still isn't making no money.
There's going to be a lot of truth come out thereof eventually, because we
have a colonial down the street from us. People in the neighborhood came up
here, they are supposed to be here -- they said it's hard to get a parking
space out here. They are going to be up here talking about their commissioner.
Because they said we do not have a commissioner in Travis County, so we are
going to have to go through the judge. We don't have anybody to speak for
north ridge acres in precinct 2. I went to the city council in Round Rock
yesterday. Last week. And they told me that I could not speak up there. Maxwell
told me that I cannot speak up there anymore. He don't want to hear the bad
news of north ridge acres. I didn't think they could violate your rights or
anything, but they did in Williamson county. I'm glad -- you all aren't that
bad anyway. The -- mostly hispanic people out there. Looks like [inaudible]
it's your people out there that's suffering, your people out there sitting
on this fire plug, sitting out there suffering.
>> all of the people of Travis County are my people.
>> well, it don't seem like it. They are sitting out there.
>> mostly hispanic out there. Travis County especially a
lot of hispanic, mostly hispanic. And-- and if anybody wants to call me at
388-4277. You can call the chronicle and get a copy of this here. Almost all
of the papers is out. But you can call the chronicle, they will give you a
copy of it, if you want it this week. But it's pretty bad, precinct 2 does
not have a commissioner to speak try to get help. It's more people, bugs are
more important than people. They can find millions of dollars, Williamson
county getting a grarnt, millions of dollars for spiders, of course Austin
has salamanders, I know you all want light rail, everything else, commuter
rail, light rail, underground rail, all of that kind of stuff. We are sitting
out there on the fire hydrant getting water from a fire hydrant. The ditches
out there looking like a swamp, just like it says here, shit floats, too.
Just because somebody is up here begging for help, they are stalkers. Mike
hildenstein in Williamson county says he is not going to do nothing for this
neighborhood. See how people are suffering out there. They are you are people.
I can't say they are her people, she don't care nothing about them, she only
care abouts the rich areas. I will be here until I die.
>> mr. Snyder, I think that if you will pull out, let some
of those people take the leadership, I think we could get it done like they
did at kennedy ridge.
>> kennedy ridge are better than we are. We need the grant
first. Just like judge Biscoe put in there years ago. He put a grant in there,
got it all cleaned up and everything. Then they come out there, 18 people
moved in there afterwards, took in a new area that had no sewer, all they
are doing is adding on. The corporation that runs the system, the first grants,
they should have gotten capital recovery fees and added on to extend out their
lines. If they had a little bit more management they could put the money to
work for them and they could extend it on. Just like us, we get in there,
get everything up to standards, then we take -- whoever takes it over can
add on, then we won have to worry about grants all of the time. Because I
thought that's why they quit taking money in for. The money they too in should
go back into the system. This guy hasn't done nothing out there except rape
the neighborhood. Paying higher water rates than anyplace in the state.
>> well the people in kennedy ridge made that grant work.
>> anybody can.
>> the ordinary people who live out there can make that grant
work, but you need to pull out. And let other people take the lead.
>> who do you want to run it? You tell me, we will give it
to you. We stepped out for two years --
>> the rest of the people who live there.
>> people should be in it that lives there. How is the step
program going to work if we don't get in it. You tell me. You have to start
-- tough turn the key on before your water starts -- before your motor starts
up in your car. We gave them a new board for two years. A new board. Pike
williams told me himself, [inaudible] told me the same thing, they will not
work with me. Giving you the same stall. Where is the reason? What's the reason?
Kennedy ridge is no more important than we are. Higher priced property. No
more important. We need the break that judge Biscoe got for kennedy ridge
the first time. Get it all in there, that's the end of it. These step programs
don't work anyway. Had to make them one work work finally, I'm glad they made
it work, but I always thought that fixed the problem first. And then after
that there you take -- whoever is running the system should fix the problem
from there on. But the main thing we have for get the infrastructure in the
neighborhood. We need sewer worse than we need water. Water sitting on top
of the ground. Pictures coming out of all of the ditches, lines sitting on
top of the ground. Babies with bags on their sides, sick people. I'm getting
a list of people that all of the people that died out there from cancer. Also
dogs I found in ditches, taking pictures of them, giving a document to the
humane society and my vet. We are going to document it. Find out why we can't
get help, dead animals sitting out there, dying of gina, drinking contaminated
water. 90% of them is your people.
>> they are in Williamson county.
>> thank you very much, mr. Snyder.
