>> my name is nancy talbert, a native Austinite, employed by aisd, I'm a foster parent [inaudible] foundation. And I work with troubled teach, troubled youth at -- at [inaudible] center and I work in -- in the foster care system. I just came to say I appreciate what the city of Austin has done for me as a foster parent and for the parents who need help. I have done a lot of volunteer work myself in the past. I didn't know that one day I was going to need help. I inherited a grandson, a lot of grandparent are taking on their grandkids now. I inherited a grandson with multiple disability that was abused. I have now taken on two other kids that are little that are abused and neglected. I appreciate what the centers have done for me and the agencies that have helped me. We need help, it's very hard, I thought as a volunteer when I was helping parents with their children, I didn't realize what you had to go through. I worked with victims services before, people with violent crime not knowing one day that I was going to need help. I just want to say that I thank the community of Austin and I appreciate what they have done for me and the people that I have worked with, the parents and the children and that's all that I can say, thankful.
>> move approval.
>> second.
>> thank you very much.
>> any more discussion? All in favor?
>> judge, I will have to abstain because of the -- of a relative, relationship here. So I'm going to have to abstain.
>> all in favor? Show commissioners Gomez, Sonleitner, yours truly voting in favor, commissioner Davis abstaining. Okay.
>> thank you.
>> thank you.
