14 is to discuss revisions to the fy 2003 united health care choice, epo and ppo, summary plan descriptions and take appropriate action. 14 d is to approve printing and dissemination of readvised fy 2003 and united health care summary plan descriptions to employee participants. Yes, sir?
>> good morning. We are here to request the court's permission to make some modifications to the summer plan descriptions. Which they were drafted these were oversights or clerical errors. The first one deals with newborn coverage, the ppo does not allow for -- the ppo does allow for the first 31 days of birth for the newborn to be covered. The epo does not. And there was an -- that was an oversight on our part. We are asking the court to allow us to make that modification. The second one is private duty nursing. The document misstates the use of private duty nursing. We are supposed to allow private duty nursing as long as it does not happen in a hospital where nurses are staffed 24 hours. So we are asking to modify the summary plan description to correct that. The third item is a clerical error. We have wording in the summary plan description that refers to conversion of insurance, that's something that's done with fully insured plans. Where an individual has the prerogative to go from a group coverage with a terminated employee to an individual policy and that's not afforded under this self funded plan, so that's a clerical error that we are being asked to allow to correct.
>> so those three changes would be made in the policies?
>> that's correct. In summary plan description which outline the benefits and provisions exclusions. Then the simple language they would communicate these three changes to employees.
>> that's correct. Any more discussion? Motion to approve and a second. That's 14 a and b.
>> yes.
>> we do not have a copy of the [inaudible] employees, right?
>> no. You only have a copy of the wording that will go into the summary plan description, correct.
>> but the [inaudible] employees would be much simpler than these seven pages [ laughter ]
>> yes.
>> okay.
>> based on that assurance, all in favor? That passes by unanimous vote.
>> thank you.
>> point well taken, judge.
>> thank you, dan. [ laughter ]
