Citizens Communication

>> citizens communication is next. This is to give residents an opportunity to address the court on any matter not on the agenda. Mr. Schnieder has signed in. Snyder has signed in.
>> > my name is kenneth snyder, north ridge acres, capital city colonial. And I got this here out of the chronicle and everything. I noticed [inaudible] light rail seemed more important than people, commuter rail, all of that kind of stuff. Nine years trying to get basic help out there. Don't look like we are going to get anything. I do believe next week there will be a big turnover. I would like to hold a party if we get new people in here. We need new people, that's what we need. People. And -- thinking about people and not theirself. For years all we ever thought about was just ourselves. We have a third world colonias, seven or eight miles from another, a third world neighborhood. Nine years trying to get help out there. Karen son only don't like to help anybody. Of course she told -- she told netty brown not to ever call her office. I heard her on the phone machine the other day. On the mike hanson show talking about don't ever call my office for any kind of help. She never done that to me so far because I don't call that often. But I do fax her all of the time, try to fax her all of the time. Everything. [inaudible] knowledge, they ain't got their machine on, you can't really fax their office. But hopefully we get new people up there next week. We will have new people up here. That thinks of the people, feelings for the people. Kids have to play in this kind of stuff. Ditches out there that look like swamps. I shouldn't have to be up here pounding like this, everything. If you are back here, I don't know what I will do. I will keep coming up here, there are programs out there, everything, but the county has to put in for it. You all keep saying that you work for Williamson county and Travis County both, whichian see any signs of it. Nine years, no help from Karen Sonleitner at all, this is her district. I don't see no signs out there to vote for her, because I'm glad of that. [inaudible] bring all you want, put 100 of them in front of my yard, she ain't getting no voters from north ridge acres at all. And I was with mike man son the other day, walking the neighborhood, I'm really surprised, he has a lot of people on his side that's going to vote for him and everything. They say they are tired of what the county government is doing to people. Raising taxes, everything else. Houses, all of this kind, the county is actually putting people out of their homes on account of people cannot pay taxes. You can make these private entities work for themselves instead of trying to work all of their businesses for them, trying to keep people in jail for the tax revenues. There's a problem out there somewhere where we have to take this condition for nine years, we have to be in these conditions, can't get no help. There's a reason for it. There's a reason why the county don't want to do nothing for us. There's a reason why the city don't want to do nothing for this neighborhood. Over a thousand acres on the other side sitting empty. [buzzer sounding] not counting the neighborhood. All of this growth going around, I wonder where all of the money goes. Somebody needs to audit and find out exactly where the county put all of this money. I did find out where all of this money is really going, I know $100 million going to the justice center, they need to find out where all of this money is going --
>> wrap up.
>> mike man son brought up -- hanson brought up about these [inaudible], I guess you all put it out there for different things and everything. Then you say you run out of money because your investments weren't paying. This here is also going on speed dial --
>> thank you very much, mr. Snyder.
>> they are going to be setting this up through fax, through speed dial. Maybe we will get something done -- think about the people. 2. Consider invoicing -- whoops, let's take the consent items first.
>> judge, if I could just make one announcement before we go on. The Texas society of pathologists have picked dr. Vall -- baralldo to be the 2002 citation of merit recipient he will receive that during the an mull meeting in January of 2003 for his dedicated work and leadership. He has significantly contributed to the advancement of forensic pathology and medical examiner system in Texas. I wanted to say congratulations to dr. Bayardo.
>> we have been fortunate to to have him. He certainly has a positive impact on that area state doosh wide.
>> wonderful front page of -- I think lifestyle or one of the sections yesterday in the statesman and really talked a lot about him and his detective work.
>> yeah. It was cool.
>> okay. Maybe to the point where we ought to have one of those beautiful proclamations for him.
