>> number 4 is to consider appointment of members to the intermunicipal rail district board and take appropriate action. We previously appointed commissioner Moore. And there is another appointment available, but it has to be somebody to represent the rural transportation in Travis County.
>> I move that we appoint dave marsh to recommend the carst.
>> second.
>> judge, I did get a chance to talk to this particular person that they've recommended, this past week, and I was very impressed with this individual. So I think it's a real good choice, and I'm going to support that motion.
>> great.
>> mr. Marsh has agreed to serve and and the board has graciously agreed to allow him to serve. Any more discussion? All in favor of the motion? That passes by unanimous vote. And I guess we'll formally communicate that to mr. Mar -- mrs. Moore?
>> we've been communicating it to the commission, the txdot commission, because they have to two appointments to make, and also to the Austin-san antonio corridor council.
>> okay.
>> and I think the council is talking, the Austin city council is talking about taking that item up either this Thursday or next Thursday in terms of their appointment and also they have a business appointment.
>> okay.
>> judge -- go ahead. Finish what you were saying. Issues I'm going to move to another item.
