Executive Session
We have finished everything this morning except the executive session items. We have been requested by kevin morris to postpone or to pull item no. 34.

Receive briefing from county attorney in Travis County, et alrebecca cheryl gibbons (jeanette finch-walton resale deed), and take appropriate action. C. Receive briefing from county attorney in Travis County, et al. V. R.c. Williams, that's a name I'm familiar with, h.l. Aven homes, inc. Resale deed), and take appropriate action. D. Receive briefing from county attorney in Travis County, et al. V. Manuel g. & marie i. Mendez (miguel morales resale deed), and take appropriate action. E. Receive briefing from county attorney in Travis County, et al. V. Vincent & irene mackenzie (daryl d. Allison resale deed), and take appropriate action. F. Receive briefing from county attorney in Travis County, et al. V. Jesse ceballos (jeanette finch-walton resale deed), and take appropriate action. All of those are under the consultation with attorney exception to the open meetings act. And over lunch apparently we were asked to reset items number 36 and 38. Until next week per elaine cassis. Number 37 we will take up, 37. Receive briefing from county attorney and authorize county attorney to accept, reject or counter offer for settlement and/or take appropriate action concerning the matter of blayne williams. That's the consultation with attorney exception to the open meetings act, also, we will discuss these items in executive session and return to open court before taking any action.

>> we have just returned from executive session. Where we discussed the following items, on number 35, I move that we approve the following resale deeds under a, resale deed to tony cernosek and acknowledge receipt of $10,000 cash to us. B, resale deed to jean net finch-walton in exchange, for 13,320 in cash, which has been paid to Travis County. In c a resale deed in the hl aven homes, incorporated, in exchange for 6,100 of that we have received in cash. D that we execute a deed to miguel morales, in exchange for $2,400 in cash. Paid to us already. E that we execute a resale deed to daryl d. Allison in exchange for $3,976.56. Which we have received in cash. And f of 35, we execute a deed -- another deed to jeanette m. Finch-walton in exchange for $6,745 that we have received in cash and that we authorize the county judge to execute these resale deeds. Any discussion of any of them? All in favor? That passes by unanimous vote. Number 37 involves the settlement offer of blayne williams, I move that we reject the offer to settle.

And a 1, involving the lawsuit filed by marcy caldwell against the state comptroller and a variety of other counties, including Travis County, move that we indicate to the attorney representing the Texas association of counties that we prefer for in-house council, ie the county attorney's office, to represent Travis County in this matter.
