Consent Items
Consent items are next. Posted for consent are c 1 through c 5, and I show those to be ready for action. We have been asked to consider adding the following items to the consent motion. 8 and 9, 10, if you would like for us to discuss these spatially please say so as we call out the number as he would be happy to do it. As we would be happy to do it. Number 12, 14 --
>> judge, I have a quick question on 14.
>> all right. 14 will not be part of the consent motion.
>> just so people know what the question is it's about the dollar amount. My memory is when we did that in court, we said it's a $50,000, we are going up to $50,000. And it's not that number. It's 49-2 in the contract. We are about $800 short.
>> 15. 16, 17 --
>> is the contract ready, judge? I had the notes on mine that was still in review in the county attorney's office.
>> let's hold off on 17. Number 9, your question is?
>> I guess you have already heard [inaudible - no mic]
>> public hearing, we are about to put that on consent, are you against it or for it.
>> then there's good news for you. [ laughter ]
>> [inaudible - no mic]
>> we are going to vote on it in one moment. You may want to see the action taken.
>> [inaudible - no mic]
>> no problem.
>> 17 we will just pull and hold off on it. 18 --
>> what about 17.
>> it's not part of the consent motion.
>> okay.
>> 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24 25, 26 ab -- 26 a and b, 27, 28 a, b and c,. We think 29 is ready?
>> we were waiting for the funding question --
>> let's hold off on 29. On 31 I guess that I would like to know exactly what we are doing there. Apparently we need two parking spaces at u.t. That total $560 are we approving a contract, authorizing that they proceed? Instead of a contract, my question is whether the commissioners court needs to ask on this. I didn't see a source of funding, it's a small amount, if we need the parking spaces I guess we need them. If there's money in the county clerk's budget that's fine. But I need to know whether we will be authorizing them to proceed with it, whether approving a contract or what.
>> we traditionally have done this. It's a good question. I don't remember if we are doing it as a contract with that lot right across the street, because there's zero parking at u.t. For the election workers.
>> my request is that somebody let us know.
>> okay.
>> and on item no. 32, I do think it's important for the folks to know what the new voting places are. It ought to be part of the consent I think unless there's objection. The new polling places will be precinct 230, fire station number 21 at 4201 spicewood springs road. The second will be in precinct 320, Lakeway church, 2203 Lakeway boulevard. Three, number 3 will be precinct 374, rolling hills community church, 20103 dawn drive. These will be election day polling places and if you need those names of the stations and addresses, you can contact any member of the court or the clerk's office, precincts 230 through 20 and 374, otherwise it seems to be consent material to me. Any objection to it being on consent?
>> no, sir.
>> and 33.
>> move approval of the consent items.
>> judge, can we add A2 to that, it's a short form plat and t.n.r. Says it's ready to go, they just didn't get it in time to make the --
>> yes, we will put that on because we were assured it was ready.
>> assured.
>> okay. A 2. Would anyone like for us to pull any of these items for separate discussion? All in favor? That motion carries by man by unanimous vote.
