29. Approve the addition of three police equipped vehicles purchased with project spotlight grant funds to county fleet and the assignment of the vehicles to constable, precinct four.
>> this goes with the employees that we approved for this project, right.
>> the city stopped doing it, the county is doing it, they are even shifting moneys to take care of the maintenance so we are not getting neat that doesn't have maintenance and -- getting fleet that doesn't have maintenance and fuel money. Part of the grant, yes.
>> then the cars need to be used by the employees specifically for this project. Right?
>> yes. The purpose of purchasing the vehicles was so that the three law enforcement employees that are associated with the grant would have properly outfitted vehicles for their use, but the vehicles also will -- will include representatives from adult probation or cscd and juvenile court that will ride along in these teams.
>> okay. Move approval.
>> okay. Project spotlight is what program, now?
>> that's a program that was funded about four years ago through the governor's office for the juvenile probation department, adult probation to heighten supervision of juveniles and adults that are identified as high risk offenders.
>> and the cars are used by --
>> by law enforcement. This is true outfitted with radios and all of the regular law -- they are outfitted with radios and all of the law enforcement equipment to go out in the evenings and during the day to track down where these individuals are, make sure that they are complying with their conditions of probation.
>> okay. Any more discussion?
>> judge, I was going to add, I notice in the backup, those titles need to come to my office so that we can --
>> yes, I have them right here.
>> okay. [ laughter ]
>> got them right there waiting on you. [ laughter ]

>> they are not used for other business. They are strictly for this. There are some issues on the take home that will be addressed --
